Why should I get my roof washed?

Next we use a mixture of 4-5% sodium hypochlorite or liquid chlorine and a special soap to aid in adhesion to soak the surface of the roof, killing any organic material living on the shingles. The mixture will sit on he roof for about 25 minutes before being rinsed with fresh water. Over time the dead organic material will dry out and fall of the roof, leaving behind a clean looking roof without damaging the shingles.
